When I checked out this Villa, I thought it was too good to be true with everything easily accessible being in Bon Accord.

The rooms & washroom were nice and unexpectedly large giving you a sense of privacy; the house was fully equipped with the pool, jacuzzi,Comfy beds spacious kitchen,A/C I loved here!!

The house housekeeper is a joy and was very friendly accomodating to our needs. We loved this property and after we decided to return once more after our last Trip in Nov 2010

for the summer 2011 with the kids the Villa was booked well in advance 2 months before catching me off guard with airline tickets already bought. Either way we miss you this Year Mangobird, will

catch you the next time as I will take nothing for granted, did I mention the agent or owner I spoke to on the internet was the best off all in communication prior to booking.

I think I have said it all no other place for me in Tobago. Highly recommended.

David & Alison Ormerod from U.K. visited in July 2011 and awarded  Five out of Five

We had a great holiday staying in Mangobird villa. We were very comfortable in the property, loved the island, and apart from some rain on the first day enjoyed good weather. Our teenage children had plenty of space and we all loved the pool.

We had excellent diving with R & Sea Divers, enjoyed a Birding tour of the Bon Accord wetlands, and a great rainforest walk. Our children had fun horse riding in Bucco Bay. The cool box and ice packs provided were ideal for picnics on the beach. The two weeks flew by!

We took Stephen's advice with car hire, and enjoyed trouble free motoring for the two weeks. We especially appreciated the courtesy of being collected from the airport and taken to the villa with our luggage - leaving the paperwork for the following day.

We also appreciated being able to stay in the villa until our evening flight home.

My group (8 adults) stayed at the Villa from June 22nd - June 25th, 2011.

After extensive research of Mangobird Villa, there are excellent reports and one bad review. While this single negative reaction was of concern initially, after staying there for 4 days / 3 nights, the only problem with recommending the place is that it may be booked the next time we want to go there - We absolutely loved it!!!

The house itself is a true gem. Spacious rooms, well designed, clean bathrooms and bedrooms are but a few of the great things that I can say. The location is superb, the neighbourhood affords you privacy and the house is secure with an alarm system with 24 hour cctv recording.

The pool is quite wonderful and the jacuzzi (non-heated) is amazing. We spent hours in the pool which is cleaned professionally every other day. The weather was against us initially but we were able to easily clean up the flowers / twigs that found itself into the pool with a net provided.

The house offers all facilities that one can ask for from a standalone villa. Lovely sofa sets, dining table, kitchen appliances and utensils, outdoor grill are but a few of what is available. The house has an exquisite feel to it as it is adorned with magnificent paintings throughout - even in the bedrooms. The house is truly tastefully done.

The owner, Stephen, was very easy to communicate with and very prompt in response. He even accommodated our group with a slightly later check out time. In my correspondence with him, he was always honest and assuring which was validated by everything being just how he described.

Our only discommode was that we wished that the place was maintained a little more. While sheets were changed everyday, we wished that the villa was swept and mopped as well.

One note for vacationers in Tobago - as stated in the review of the area, the bugs do come out to play as it gets dark, so be warned that insect repellent is mandatory if you intend to stay outside... but the great AC at Mangobird ensured that we weren't eaten alive.

Overall, we wish to say thanks to Stephen (owner) and Angela (house keeper) for a great vacation. Just really hoping that Stephen gives us preference in staying here for our next vacation.

Our stay at Mangobird villa was very relaxing and enjoyable.

One member of our party was disabled and unlike many villas in Tobago, Mangobird had a ground floor bedroom and bathroom with suitable accommodations. The house has everything you would need.God's willing we would all like to stay there again in the near future.

We have previous rented 2 other Luxury villas in Tobago so we had our expectations at arrival.

This is in our opinoin a normal villa with nothing special to write home about. In other word no Luxury villa

We felt perfectly safe in the area and had no problems what so ever to walk around in the evenings.

NB: The surrounding villaes is also rentals and are in the weekends rented out to young pepole from Trinidad that wants too party. Both weekends we had loud music from early afternoon until 5 am in the morning. The last weekend it was a band who had rented the nextdoor villa and the practiced the whole day. And trus me....they need more practice.

We will not rent this villa again but will for sure visit Tobago for the 4th time
