I have just returned from a 3 week stay at Mangobird villa. It was our 4th consecutive visit. There are 4 of us in the party and each time we go back we want to stay longer. I was excited about staying for 3 weeks this year but having arrived back on Friday I want to stay longer!! I could live there!! Before we went we heard of the horrid murder that had taken place in Tobago we were shocked and saddened by it and every effort was made by Stephen to reasssure us that safety and our peace of mind was paramount in everyone's mind. We were even offered security at the house for the duration of our stay. I was very impressed with this offer but turned it down. I want to shout out loud and clear to anyone who is thinking of going to stay at Mangobird or anywhere in Tobago that the people are so very friendly and lovely and cannot do enough to make us welcome. They are totally embarrassed by the horrid incident and we felt absolutely and completely safe and relaxed during our stay. As always this villa is like our second home. We just love it. It has everything that is needed for a relaxing holiday and has the most homely and friendly atmosphere. I hate leaving it. After our lovely days out in paradise it is so lovely to come home to a friendly house where we wanted for nothing. We spent most evenings with the bar-be-que and the wonderful catch of the day i.e. flying fish, lobster, king fish, red snapper - I cannot spell the other one!! It has been heavenly. WE have made friends with Errol Roach (Roachee)he can arrange any trips anywhere, anytime. He and his family came for tea one evening. The people that we have met have taken us into their hearts and homes and I would recommend anyone who is thinking of going to Tobago to stay at this lovely lovely home. (Not when I am due to go though!)Thank you to Stephen, Cathy, Vickie and her husband (I am sorry I do not know his name) for providing a lovely home from home. Can't wait to go back.

As you can see I was very satisfied with the property even more so by the owners who were excellent to deal with ( we had flight problems )and could not do enough for us.

As for the villa it's self, wonderful everything we needed or may have needed was there for our use. We had a great time staying at this villa and I'm sure so would anyone, a real friendly place to stay and relax.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Tobago staying at Mangobird Villa. The house is a real home from home.

This was our third visit (we have already booked our fourth) at this lovely house.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Angela and after a very long flight a gin, tonic, beer and rum punch were very gratefully received - we munched, drank and swam in the lovely floodlit pool until giving in to jet lag.

It was so lovely to wake early to wonderful sunshine and heat. We collected our fish and lobster from Pigeon Point in the morning, lazed on a wonderful beach all day and bar-b-qued in the evening. What a hard life!!!!!!

The house is very well equipped, I especially love having such a wonderful fridge and ice-maker (essential) and also a lovely swimming pool. Everywhere has such a happy feel and we love the situation of the house, it is near Pigeon Point and shops (amazed how quiet it is, we didn`t hear any planes).

We have visited a few houses on the island over the years (one was absolutely enormous) but we always love coming back home to Mangobird. The atmosphere is one of happiness and homeliness.

If anyone is considering going to Tobago for a holiday we would strongly recommend that they stay at Mangobird Villa where the whole experience is one of total relaxation and enjoyment.

We just cannot wait to go back.

I know my report is a bit late, however, as i search the internet once again for rental villas in the Bon Accord area, with intent on scramble upon that awesome, fully equiped, perfectly located villa with all amenities needed, which four classmates and i stayed for our july/august greatfete weekend vacation in 2006.

YES. Now i see the pictures, i now remember, this is it. THIS IS IT! MANGOBIRD VILLA!

Great Great great vacation spot. Ideal for families or groupings to truly enjoy a relaxing and fun filled vacation. At times we felt like not leaving the villa at all, at this villa you experience all comfort to the tenth level. The pool, the vacation-like feeling when you walk onto the balony upstiars. WOW.! We had a total blast.

oh, the daily caretaker, i even remember her name, Ms. Yevonne, she is super ideal. She told us of all the ideal location for everything, from food, car rental, shopping, actvities, she's a plesant lady.

i hope she's still there, i'm expected to visit tobago this summer again and i hope to convience my members of MANGOBIRD VILLA for the ideal villa to stay. hopefully i meet Ms. Yevonne again. she's sure remember me, we had a time!

Sue and I took our 18 month old daughter to Tobago in February 2006.

This was our first long haul holiday with a very excited and non sleepy toddler and Mangobird Villa was an exciting prospect to us all for different reasons.

Our first impression on drawing up at the property was one of total Caribbean charm combined with a lovely pool and jacuzzi that was to prove invaluable during our stay.

We enjoyed the rum punch which awaited our arrival and then Sue and Eli explored the villa. The reality of the accomodation was a true reflection of the website advert through which we had booked it.

A foreign holiday with a young child can be be a more than challenging experience but the facilities at Mangobird Villa made it both easy and enjoyable.

In addition the housekeeper was both efficient and a mine of information about the Island and local recipes.

We swam in the pool, had BBQs in the back garden, lounged on the terraces up and downstairs and quite frankly had a wonderful time in extremely hospitable accomodation.

We found that Pigeon Point and Store Bay were within easy walking distance even in the heat and with a pushchair. There is also a good selection of nearby bars and foodstores.

All in all, we would recommend Mangobird Villa to our friends as a place to stay when visiting Tobago.
