Marbago is a charming villa built in 2005 with stylish Caribbean flavor, set 400’ above the sea, overlooking Bloody Bay and the famous “Sisters” dive location. It is decorated in vibrant colors with especially selected pieces from the owners’ Caribbean art collection, to make you feel immediately at ease with the tropical surroundings.You will enjoy a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea and dazzling sunsets from the ridgetop dining gazebo or while relaxing in one of the many Mexican hammocks on the wrap-around decks; its screened-in dining room overlooking blue waters seats 8 and is the perfect place for leisurely dining.
A footpath will take you to the property’s waterfalls as well as the private beach below it. The 4.5 acre, professionally landscaped property offers the tropical island flavors of many estate-grown fruits, vegetables and herbs: papaya, mango, guava, pineapple, sugar apple, starfruit, rollinea, abiu, sapodilla, carambola, rambutan, jaboticaba, miracle fruit, breadfruit, lemons, limes, lemongrass, basil, shadon benne, thyme, sage, mint, French thyme, and many more
The villa sleeps 3; includes a heavenly queen size bed in AC/fan master bedroom and a twin mattress day bed in the lounge; there are 2 full baths, and a sleeping loft; the master bedroom has a large, comfortable bath with a Bali style, lushly landscaped outdoor shower with multiple shower heads
Included are all linens & beach towels and toys; flat screen TV for DVD movies only (no cable tv); board games, and a varied 450 volume library
Housekeeper service is included 3 times a week; the fully equipped, chef-designed kitchen includes gas stovetop, full size 2-door refrigerator, BBQ, microwave, and other kitchen appliances all from the USA; basic grocery and toiletry items are provided and initial grocery purchase can be arranged prior to arrival; experienced local cooks are available for in-house meal deliveries
Fee-based Wireless Internet, use of prepaid mobile phone, and additional fee housekeeper services can be arranged for long term bookings; gated entrance and underground utilities ensure your privacy and uninterrupted views
Airport transfer service available; car rental, water sports, guided boat/fishing, rain forest, and waterfall tours can be arranged with our trusted, experienced, professional staff
Tobago’s Crown Point airport (TAB) is serviced by Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and Monarch out of the UK; Condor from Germany; Tobago is a 20-minute flight on Caribbean Airlines which operates 20-plus flights daily from Piarco International in Trinidad; Piarco Int’l is also serviced daily non-stop from the USA by American Airlines out of Miami, Florida, as well as by other major North American airlines
