This spot was lovely and very picturesque. It was a perfect location for relaxing and enjoying nature. However the upstairs apartment was nicer and than the downstairs apartment. Also the next time we visit hopefully the road gets repaired. But all in all, Plantation View Villa is a grade A vacation spot.

I arrived back from Tobago almost a week ago now and have been so chilled out and relaxed it has taken me this long to write about how wonderful my holiday experience was. Plantation View Villa is a short car ride from the airport and is set in the Idyllic countryside about 500 feet above sea level. It has panoramic views over the Altantic with Trinidad visible in the distance. It was like returning home to Tobago for me, as it is about 10 years since my last visit. My friends and I can quite honestly say that our stay at Plantation View was amazing. The accommodation was great with all rooms having an en suite. As we sunned ourselves on the loungers cooling off in the swimming pool and jacuzzi was a must. We played pool and games in the evening whilst the lobsters and steaks cooked on the barbie. It was the ideal location to visit the rest of the island and we were lucky enough to be in Tobago for the annual Jazz festival and went to Jazz at Scarborough, Castara and Mount Irvine bay. We would like to raise a rum punch in thanks and absolutely intend to visit Tobago again and now would not stay anywhere else but at Plantation View Villa.

Fantastic Villa, clearly looked after and maintained well. Gardens have so much space the grand children could just about get lost enough for silence in the air, but still secure with the garden being fenced appropriately...

Pictures don't do this Villa justice (and would actually benefit an update for the recent works obviously having been completed.

Such a quiet location with a staggering view - I will certainly be visiting again, and this time with more people as the villa is vast (and versitile over 2 separable floors like 2 flats - amazing)!!

Thanks to Barry

My family and I rented this villa for a relaxing weekend in Tobago. The villa is very spacious and very clean. we had a problem with not having the remote control for the a/c's since there was only a switch and the caretaker told us that the remotes were not available since people play with them! The fridge was not working and we had to throw away alot of food even though it was a new fridge. The bedrooms were very spacious but some new beds are needed since the beds made noises all night. The pool area was quite nice, overlooking the entire plantations and it was very clean. the Jacuzzi was extremely relaxing. the drive from the airport and ferry terminal was a bit long and the road to the villa definitely needs repairs. Overall the villa was comfortable and the vacation and time spent in Tobago was very nice.

My friends and I stayed at the plantation villa for the Christmas weekend in 2013 for about 4 days. The house is pretty and the view was wonderful. However we were unable to enjoy the full amenities we paid for. The pool was nasty and unkempt and when we called the care taker for help the delay was way to long. We were unable to enjoy the pool because of how deplorable it was. There was also no heat for the pool. Additionally, There was also a very nasty smell in the downstairs part of the house. It seemed to be poor engineering of the toilet facilities. It smelled like wet dogs were in and out of the house multiplied by 1 million. Furthermore when we we leaving my friends and I decided to be kind and clean up the house as well as remove all if the sheets and pillow cases from the beds and place it somewhere so that the owner can easily pick up and wash. We made a ginormous mistake in removing the sheets. The level of mold and mildew that was discovered was terrifying. Yes the view is breathtaking but if you dear take a breath be sure to inhale a stink toilet Oder that would leave you dazed and confused. The owner is a very nice lady, no problem interacting, but she was very unresponsive to our complaints and her conscience didn't allow her to refund us money since we certainly didn't get what we paid for.

Please do not stay here until all of these things are fixed.
