The island is extremely beautiful and safe. Still a bit wild and not crowded with touristic fancy resorts and facilities. Gorgeous beaches, minimally equipped but, in most of the cases with the minimum requirements. Englishman bay and Turtle beach the 2 best beaches accordino to' our tastes. To avoid at any price Store bay...
Food is a bit of an issue... We are Italian. We found the quality of thefih very good. Sometime, it was better to buy a freshly caught fish at the Market and grill it vs going to the relatively elegante and not exciting restaurants. The unique one we can recommend is: La Tartaruga. Pricy for the standard of the island but, at the lest they serve very good food. We Are at The fish Pot, at La Cantina, El Pescador... Magne good forTobago but, not good in assolute terms.
The houses were gorgeous. We staid 2 nights at Yellow Bird and then at Sand Pebbles. Both houses were very good. We regret to not have been albe to not stay longer in Yellow Bird eden if The house was available. The first villa is much better and cost only 10% more.
All in all an exellent stay. We will go back.
A last comment about this website. Sometime there are bold statements and assessment that we have not seen confirmed. Two examples: we loved the very simple restaurant in Englishman bay. The owners were very friendly. The simple food excellent. No consequences for our stomach The two times we ate there; we found The island very safe. The people friendly and always willing to help.
A sonderemo esperienze.

Our family had an amazing stay at the Sandpebbles Villa! While it was just the three of us, the villa would easily accomodate two families. Liz and her team assisted us in all of our inquiries and gave excellent suggestions on food, shopping and site seeing. The highlight of our vacation was diving in Speyside with Tobago Diving Experience and Sean Robinson! Swimming and riding with the Mantas was amazing. Thanks to all who helped make our trip such a success. Best regards, T, A and Jo

We were pleasantly surprised at the great ambience of the entire villa nestled among scenic natural views and sounds. Well equiped with household amenities and conveniences of nearby groceries and restaurants and mall. Great location as it is a stone's throw away from the Stone Haven beach! Great hospitaliy from very down to earth friendly and helpful host, Liz and friendly housekeeper Marion. We enjoyed the pool as small as it was. Even our own guests just loved the place.
One would certainly have no reservations in booking that villa in the near future. It was worth every penny, which was quite affordable considering it was a group of 6 adults comprising 2 couples and 2 female senior citizens sisters. Awesome; the fact we had our rooms aircon with wellkept ensuite toilet &bath.

We thought Sandpebbles was the perfect accommodation for us. The location of the villa is very convenient - out of the congestion with the beach right in front and still close enough to groceries, restaurants etc.
Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a real plus when two of our party got quite sick. ( Their recovery was quick.)
We did a fair amount of cooking and a cutting board would have been a good thing to have in the kitchen. Otherwise the kitchen is well appointed with the essentials.
The villa was clean and Marion, the housekeeper, was a efficient and pleasant.
These are very secure villas with gates and a guard at night.
Liz was always available and met us at the villa upon arrival ( 9:30 P.M.) and was there at 5:15A.M. for check-out the morning we left.
We wholeheartedly recommend this villa.

Not quite as grand as its neighbours Hawksbill and Yellowbird, but slightly cheaper too. Really has everything I'd look for in a very comfortable holiday villa without any pretension.
We've come back in successive years and are treated like old friends. Very child friendly too. I'd recommend it very highly.
