Just back from two weeks at Villa Soleil. What a wonderful place. We arrived late in the evening, therefore, were not able to appreciate this beautiful villa until the morning. When I awoke and walked to the Caribbean side of the villa, I was in awe. I stood and looked out for several minuets to just appreciate the wonderful morning sights and sounds.
The view of the very blue water and rolling waves is spectacular. The house is also very special. It sits atop a hill that overlooks the Caribbean Sea. The design is nothing but amazing, and the colors and decorating details are very tasteful.
The house was very clean and the people assigned to keep the place clean were delightful and efficient. The gardener was also very friendly, and kept the outdoor areas trimmed and neat. The pool person visited regularly to make sure the pools were in top shape. It was very obvious that careful attention was paid to all the details in the villa.
We slept in the master bedroom and just loved the open shower. We awoke most mornings to the songs of several different birds.
We ate well. The kitchen has everything needed to make great meals. One night we had fresh lobsters delivered to our door.
Several times I walked down to the water just to watch the amazing number of beautiful fish. I fished a few times and felt like I was fishing in tropical aquarium. We did not need any other recreation than going to the pool and fishing off the dock, however, we chartered a boat and caught some local fish and had another great meal.
We already plan to return next year. My wife has been here before. She hopes to make it a “3-peat.” This is a place that you’ll want to return to again and again.

As one of the premium villas on the island and with a price which reflects that, our group had high expectation.
On the positive side the villa was stunning on first impressions, the design is unique and unlike anywhere we had ever stayed before on a practical side things were not so great.
We were really looking forward to sitting down to a Carribean meal (with rum punch and beers) as was promised on our arrival, we got a bowl of coleslaw and a bowl of chicken rice left for us in the fridge with no drinks (insufficient for 9 hungry and thirsty travellers) but luckily we knew where to pick up Pizza.
The level of house keeping was poor for the size of the villa, our maid was nice but was unable to manage the cleaning in her couple of hours per day. We spent hours of each day doing dishes and washing towels, not how I had planned to spend my vacation.
The garden was unruly (no longer possible to see the jetty or sunset from the pool area like in the promotion pics) the outside shower was dusty and dirty, the pool area was not cleaned prior to our arrival or at all during our stay and the lower sun deck was covered with black moss and rotting leaves.
We know the island really well and could not recommend this villa to island virgins, it is isolated and 30 mins from the best beaches.
Architecture and wow factor - 5 Stars
Service and attention - 1 Star

I can't begin to explain how impressed we were with our stay at SOLEIL. By far in my judgement amoung the best of villas in the region (and we've stayed in quite a few). The detail the owners put into the design and finishings were amazing - and it all lent fast to a feeling of being in your dream fantasy home for a few days. Obviously the down side - is that you have to leave right?????
It doesn't take long to disconnect from the world -with the constant sound of the ocean waves calming you down. And to top it off - the dolphins coming up to the property made us feel like we In the Truman show - seriously,
Finally we thought the pictures on the website didn't do the place justice. It is actually better than whats on the website!
100% will return!!!!!

Your villa is truly exceptional. The views are breath-taking. The place is big, open & beautifully decorated. Amenities throughout. Great kitchen. Large eating table. Comfortable furniture. Awesome bedrooms. Super bathrooms. Fantastic staff. Secluded and well protected. A very, very relaxing place. Love the bathroon with the ocean view. The swimming pools are awesome and you even have an outside shower. Cool! Didn't want to leave it was so nice there. Certainly a place we want to come back too. Hopefully soooooooon.

Words like, "stunning," and "breathtaking," seem woefully inadequate to describe the splendor that is Villa Soleil. My family just returned from a luxurious holiday and couldn't have been more pleased. The bumpy road and difficult terrian leading up to the house belie what awaits when you pull through the gate and see the incredible view.
The staff was courteous, readily available and efficient--especially Curtis who seemed to know everyone on the island and could get whatever you needed at a moment's notice. On a trip back from the store one day, my sister mentioned in passing that she wanted a unique set of salt and pepper shakers for a friend back home...next thing we knew, Curtis pulled into a quaint little craft shop, just off the beach for my sister to check out.
The accommocations rivaled any five star resort with an attention to detail that was unsurpassed. Beautiful beaches were within a few minutes drive and the staff was ready to assist with arranging tours and other activities.
Just one day into our vacation, our family was already planning a return visit.
