Top O' Tobago Villa is located on a hilltop in six acres of luxuriant tropical vegetation. The views from this hilltop retreat are stunning and stretch from Tobago's northern hill ranges down to Buccoo Reef and the Nylon Pool. Arnos Vale Bay is a simple 10-minute stroll away across lovely nature trails.
The accommodation at Top O' Tobago comprises a main house sleeping 4/5, and three self-contained studio apartment 'cabanas' that will each sleep four. Although normally rented as a single entity, the individual units can be rented separately.
We first stayed at Top O' Tobago in 2004 and said then that we suspect that it will be a long, long time before we stay at another property that suits us more personally. We LOVED it. We stayed again in 2008 and are delighted to confirm the sentiments. This is a VERY special place.

An intimate villa retreat on 6 acres of tropical gardens. Ideal for hiking, bird watching, snorkelling or just 'liming' by the 360 degree poolview.
Top O' Tobago is a Villa and guest house that sits on the crest of a hill with six acres of mature tropical gardens filled with flowering trees, exotic fruit and tropical birds. The location provides spectacular uninterrupted views over the quiet, lush green countryside and out to the blue Caribbean sea. There are nature trails for guests to explore on the property while close by is the secluded beach at Hidden Bay and the Highland Waterfall - ideal for hiking, bird watching, snorkelling
At Top O' Tobago the guest house facilities comprise the Main House with 2 bedrooms plus three self-contained one-bedroom Cabanas, comfortably spaced out, terrace-style, for privacy along the hillside. All guests enjoy the use of a full size swimming pool with loungers, hammocks and a 360 degree poolview, plus several cozy patio areas and a barbecue area.
The complex was designed and laid-out to allow individuals, couples and groups of friends or families to holiday together, or for corporations to meet on retreat using the large common areas, while providing complete privacy for each accommodation unit.
A ten-minute stroll along the garden path leads to the beautiful Arnos Vale Beach - renowned for snorkelling, but great for swimming and sunbathing too. This is Tobago's Caribbean coast and secluded beaches are found within walking distance of the villa, with others a short drive away.
At dusk guests can relax with a drink or a favourite book and enjoy a romantic sunset by the pool. The quiet serene rural environment with its gentle breezes, clean air, bright stars and twinkling fireflies seem to rejuvenate all who holiday at Top O' Tobago Villa and Guest House.
The layout and design of Top O' Tobago makes it ideal for hosting individuals, couples and gatherings such as extended family holidays, family and friends reunions, corporate retreats and weddings. Each accommodation unit is private, but there are large common spaces for everyone to meet and talk.
The decor and furnishings are informal and every effort is made to make your stay a relaxing one.
Airport Arrival and Departure- Guest Information
We are pleased to offer you complementary transfers to Top O' Tobago if you let us know your flight number and arrival time.
- Housekeeping service is provided three days a week and our Manager lives on site to answer your questions and offer suggestions about travel on the island. There are balustrades around the pool deck and life saving equipment; however you are requested to keep a close eye on young children in the pool area as there is NO lifeguard service provided.
- Safe boxes are provided in each cabana and the Main house. Please use common sense to secure your important documents, money and valuables etc while off the premises..
- Self service laundry is available.
- Telephone. Local and overseas calls can be made by contacting the manager. A cell phone is also available for rental to our guests during your stay. Details available from the Manager.
- Fax facilities
- Limited wireless Internet access is available to guests.
- Basic groceries can be stocked in the kitchen for your arrival. Please let us know what you require.
- Fresh spring water right from the source is available just down the hill from Top O Tobago under the mango tree. Tap water is also safe to drink as well.
- Voltage is 110 volts and there are hairdryers and irons available.
- Banks and Bank machines (ATM) are available at the airport and in the main town of Scarborough
