I LOVED the villa! Its proximity to the beach, the beautiful layout.....the living and dining rooms, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, the convenience of a washing machine and dryer was great. The cleaning staff in all the villas(Arlene was for our villa) were friendly, accommodating and pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay there.
I would recommend leaving the toilet paper accessible (I ended up taking a roll from another bathroom that luckily wasn't used much) and making sure there are sufficient washcloths (there was 1 for our bathroom though 2 of us stayed in the room)in the bathrooms. That's the only thing that was missing for me.
Beautiful place, I would definitely visit again!

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Yellowbird. We found the villa delightful - location is terrific - beach opposite is idyllic. The rooms are airy and bright. We liked the long, wide first floor terrace that runs from all 3 bedrooms. A lovely place for a quiet read in the morning - with the sound and view of the sea. We were very well looked after by the manager Liz and the staff at the villa - everything was kept in very good order. Liz always dealt very quickly with any queries before we went and was on hand every day of our stay to see all was in order. A great, relaxing week away from the British snow!

We loved this villa. Superb location and very peaceful.
The kitchen is very well equipped,unlike many,and though we rarely eat in when we do it's quite a party so the fact we had enough of everthing was a bonus.
Living area is bright and comfortable.
Bedrooms quite spacious and the verandah wonderful. Great view and hard to leave for dinner !
Garden and pool beautifully maintained.
Liz and her staff were warm and welcoming. Arlene, our housekeeper a joy - didn't stop laughing.
The only small gripes - the showers are not that great and the sunbeds really need cushions of some sort.
We have no hesitation in recommending Yellowbird and hope to return.

Our whole family (husband, 5-year old, 18 year old, 9-year old nephew, mom and I) was absolutely thrilled by the accommodations at the Yellowbird Villa. I was nervous about booking online, as you never know if the pictures are recent. But the beach house was spotless, tastefully, practically and beautifully decorated, boasting of every comfort of home and more! My boys loved the pool (and stash of pool toys). My mom loved that she could prepare the meals for the family. My husband and I loved the beach down the hill. We would definitely stay again; or perhaps try the Hawksbill.
Notes to self: get a rental with more power since the hill to the villa is short but quite steep! Buy groceries in Trinidad as the cost of food items and restaurants in Tobago were as priced as steep as the hill.

Just returned from fabulous holiday at Yellow Bird. It is a beautiful house with a stunning view. I would defy anbody not to have a superb holiday here, Liz looks after your everyneed and nothing is too much trouble. You are seconds away from the beautiful and quiet beach as well as having a lovely pool at the house. The house is spaciouse and very clean. The best part of the holiday was a lovely man called bunny who came to the villa every day to preapre and cook all our meals and every meal he produced was to an extremley high standard and very delicious I have never seen my children eat so much including vegtables! i would definately reccommend booking bunny for your catering. This is one of the best holidays we have had and definately want to return.
