I stay at Bananaquit for 4 days for Jazz Festival, the location was perfect, but everything else was not good, no staff on hand after 5pm, everyone there was from out of town, you had no security no one to call in an emergency. i was not told about a $300 deposit until after i made my reservations. i was told check-in was 2pm, but if i got there early and my room was available i could got to my room, i was not told to occupy that room prior to 2 pm would cost $25.00 and hour. cooking was another problem, call it a room, not an apartment. the so call kitchen would take you back to 1950, am 65yrs old and did not know how to used the utilities they provided. love the location, but would not stay their again.

thank you

Stayed at Bananaquit for one night in the studio apartment . The place was very clean even the fridge and inside the microwave. Caroline was very helpful and accommodating to my family ensuring that we were made very comfortable even though we were only spending one night. thank you Caroline and daughter for getting our room ready when the housekeeper could not come out on Sunday 24th July 2014. The only draw back is that the place needs to be updated especially the bathroom.

The reviews then were ok, it's what enticed me to book, accompanied by the price.

I stayed there twice in 1 trip. The 1st time we had a loft for a few nights, comfortable, despite the meagre kitchen utensils, and water running out leaving me with soap on my skin, waiting some 10mins for back up supply. Visited some family and returned to a downstairs apt.

There were 2 single beds which we gave to our young children. Plus a pull out sofa bed which my husband and i shared. Initially,it appeared fine, but the following day i had to take painkillers for the pain inflicted. After the 2nd and last night, in the morning, i walked crunched, bent over, muscle relaxants weren't even kicking in.

The staff was pleasant and accommodating, however, I'll not return nor recommend.

My family of 3 stayed at Bananquit for 17 nights. We really enjoyd the place. We liked the location and the green garden with a very nice place for "liming" avalible for all guests. There was the only place you could use the WiFi, witch was a big minus, but it looks like every hotel/apartment has that problem. Our apartment was not really good for cooking our own food, so if you plan to cook home every day, make sure you got a working stove. Carolyn did everything to help everyone, always a happy face.

The apartments was very nice and clean. Compered to other apartments and hotel in the same area, this was a very nice place and with good service.

I can really recommend this place from our experience, and we will stay here next time as well
