Birdie's Nest - Reader Reports & Opinion

Guest Report

We've traveled a lot over 40 years, and have to say that we can't recall any more friendly and attentive hospitality than we found at Birdie's Nest, from both Prince and Princess, during a most relaxing and peaceful three weeks in January. The apartments, along with the pool and grounds, were kept clean and comfortable, beyond expectations, and anything we needed was provided -- including services such as transportation to get groceries, a 1 hour trip to replace some broken reading glasses, along with a ride to and from the health clinic to get medicine, all offered graciously.

As for the setting, it is a haven of tropical beauty, soothing surf, cooling sea breezes, uncrowded stretches of sand, and exquisite sunsets. Whether desirous of doing nothing but relaxing in the warm hospitality and weather, or seeking adventure and sightseeing in the many wonderful locations of Tobago, I doubt one would find a better place to stay and enjoy.

Kind regards

Dana and Josephine

This apartment is great for the price. It is very clean, quite and the owner goes out of his way to ensure you have a nice stay. The neighborhood leading to the property is not a tourist area, which gives you the feel that you are in the more rural part of the island. I would rent here again.

Prince and Princess made me so welcome at their lovely apartment - I would recommend a stay there to anyone.

It is clean, well equipped and the location is second to none. The pool is beautiful and blessedly free of chlorine, with a view to die for. Lying in bed listening to gentle waves is simply heavenly.

On a serious note, when my trip was sadly cut short, Prince was an absolute rock during a difficult time. Single female travellers can feel very safe here knowing they have wonderful support.

I hope to come back to Tobago in the future, and despite having stayed at several other nice places on the island, without a doubt this will be my first choice.

Birdies nest was a home away from home but even better.I invite anyone to stay at this wonderful quiet peaceful villa with private eco-friendly pool and wonderful sea view. Families would love it, couples would love it or the lone traveler. And the price is right.I stayed here with my teenage daughter Andy mother and we thoughrally enjoyed it. Prince and Prince's were the best hosts and took care of anything we needed.

Had a wonderful stay at this small family run business. Right on the beach, beautiful pool, delicious food delivered by Ms.Katherine.Great culture in Tobago.Black Rock festival during Tobago heritage festival was a highlight.Prince and his mom Princess deserve high praise.

There is much to do on the island, trips to the mountainous north,or visits to to Buccoo, nylon pool, bird refuges, snorkeling, fishing, water sports, steel band performances,etc...or just spending a relaxing day at Birdies Nest.
