Really, really nice. There can't be many views in the world better than the view from the balcony of the Boatview.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in February. I'm not sure if these was busy season or quiet season, although I can't imagine it makes much difference as there were never more than 10 people on the beach at a time.

I think it's one of the cheaper places to stay in Castara, which is odd since it's right on the beach.

Beautiful. I'd definitely recommend it.

Beautiful view. Quite cozy room. Comfortable bed. Sharon is very helpful and friendly. Should invest to more comfortable furniture to the balcony and the mosquito net needs replacement. Good food in Sharons and Brentons restaurant on the beach.

Boatview is a basic no frills apartment that delivered what we expected. The location is superb overlooking the beautiful bay. We spent many hours sitting on the terrace watching Castara go by.Shiela was extremely helpful and friendly.Fantastic snorkelling.

We spent 6 amazing weeks at the Boatview and we loved every

"second". For us it was truly magical.

Situated right over the beach, Boatview is one of the most

beautiful place to stay in Tobago (World).

We would like to thank Rachel, Sharon, Brenton and the entire

village of Castara, for making our stay at Castara so special

and beautiful.

I went to Boatview Apts. with a friend and we stayed for 3 nights. It was so wonderful it was hard to leave!! Our hosts, Rachel and Joey, were excellent and friendly, and made our stay an even more enjoyable one as they catered to all our preferences without any trouble. We also made friends with Tillie, a little dog that lives around and who loves the company of people. Tillie would always escort us to our room and back down to the beach, and hang out with us, chasing crabs in the beach or just lazying away under our beach chairs. The meals we had were very good, plentiful, and reasonably priced, as were the drinks. Heavenly Bay is right in front of the building (a few steps from it) and provides not only a spectacular view from each room (they all face the bay and have ample balconies) but is also great for swimming and snorkeling (we actually swam with a sting ray which was quite peaceful and friendly.) Pelicans and seagulls are busy in the afternoons catching fish, a large school of which was stationed in one area of the bay as if it was a natural nursery. The sunsets were breathtaking.... The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and even things we didn't need. All kinds of birds will come visit if you just put some sugar in the feeders outside or some fruit. Close-by on Saturdays you can order clay oven-baked bread which is delicious (you order in the morning and collect at 1 PM). At night, there are a few nice bars around and Castaran people are quite friendly. In sum, it was a wonderful experience and we plan to go back in the future (have told all our friends too!). Highly recommend it to all, an eco-friendly corner of paradise! And for a very reasonable rate. Best regards to Rachel and Joey! (And little Tillie!)
