We enjoyed our time at Chaconia immensely. The Condo was nothing short of a home away from home, with many amenities and fantastic service by our property manager, Liz and housekeeper, Lenore. We engaged in numerous activities, from surfing to mountain biking and of course, wave jumping in the gorgeous clear waters right outside of our condo. Our needs were attended to and we loved our experience in Tobago. I would recommend this vacation and this condo without reservation to anyone considering it. You will not be disappointed. If you fly from the United States, make sure your flights are good ones. Flying nonstop from New York is the best way to do it. Otherwise, you have numerous plane changes and flights are limited if one gets canceled, which ours almost did. You will be happy and relaxed at Chaconia and will wish you didn't have to return to reality when your vacation time ends. At least that is the way we felt. If you choose Chaconia, make sure you don't close up the condo and put on the air conditioning or you'll miss the serenity and connection you will have with the sound of the waves breaking and the peace that it brings to your life while there. Enjoy!

Fantastic property. Epitome of a Caribbean vacation. On the beach and very well maintained. All the amenities and comparable to high quality apartments in Spain etc.

We had a great stay at Chaconia Suite. The location is perfect. Just a few steps to the beach for walking, sunbathing and swimming. We felt perfectly safe as there were always people around...not many.... but nice to see others enjoying the beautiful bay. Also good security measures with gates and alarms.

The apartment is very well equipped and had everything we required. Really good to have basic things like washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets there. We only needed to buy food.

The pool area is lovely too with foot wash and shower for removal of sand from the beach and a parasol for shade.

We had great meals at The Seahorse Inn and The Fishpot.

To have some sunshine in winter in such a great place made us feel very lucky. We can't wait to return.

We spent a blissful holiday in Chaconia and would happily make it an annual event! Tobago is a lovely island with warm, friendly people and beautiful scenery everywhere. We have stayed in Scarborough and Bacolet before.

The website description and photographs were accurate but did not do justice to the real thing. We woke up each morning to stunning views, beautiful landscaping, amazing tropical birds right outside on the patio- and the awesome sound of the ocean. The furniture was comfortable and made it hard to leave to go exploring the island. We thoroughly enjoyed having one of the most beautiful beaches in the world almost completely to ourselves. We found the decor to be luxurious, tasteful and very child-friendly.

The kitchen was so well-equipped that we purchased fresh fish in the fish market nearby and made our own dinners. When we did venture out, the supermarket and shops were not very far away. Having a rental car was helpful but not necessary if you plan on just staying in. (Main supermarket is about 8 to 10 minutes away by car but lots of options nearby. There is also the option to have items purchased for you). We thoroughly enjoyed having ample storage space in the closets, the huge master bathroom and the kitchen cabinets.

Jane (the owner) was incredibly helpful and patient in arranging the vacation, then Liz (manager) and Lenore (housekeeper) were the best team you could hope for- efficient, knowledgeable and accommodating.

We have already recommended Chaconia to our friends and relatives and would highly recommend Chaconia for families, couples, girlfriend getaways and writing retreats.

Black Rock Dreams' Chaconia Villa is the ideal place to stay if you are looking for a place to relax with all the amenities you would enjoy at your own home. The view is breathtaking from the spacious balcony and you may catch the fishermen pulling in their nets if you are able to roll out of those very comfortable beds in any of the 3 spacious bedrooms. We felt very safe there as the villa has an alarm system and the compound is securely gated. Liz, the property manager, was very welcoming and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable from the moment our flight touched down in Tobago to the time we checked out.

I highly recommend Chaconia villa as it is very evident from staying there that the owner prided themselves in ensuring that their guests were comfortable, the villa was well maintained and decorated and that the property manager was just a phone call away in case of emergency.
