My stay here was suppose to be 3 days and 2 nights but it turned into 1 day and 1 night because I GOT ROBBED! It was the worst thing that ever happend to me in my life. I came outside at night on my front porch to enjoy the night and a man with a mask and a huge knife in his hand came up to me, took me in the room where my brother and sister were, told us to face down on the bed and took all our money and belongings. We were left with our clothes only. When the man left we contacted the people that own the place and they did nothing...nothing at all, not even call the police for us. We contacted the police by calling a family memeber in Trinidad, to call the police for us. The phones in the room was not working and there were NO securety, NO cameras, Nothing. The place was not safe at all. They have people watching your every move and preying on tourist. [size= I DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL EVER. PLEASE HEAR ME NOW...DO NOT STAY HERE, THIS COULD BE YOU AND IT COULD BE WORST THAN MY EXPERIENCE.

Great place if you want to relax, perfect location.Spent 23-28 Dec there with my hubby and 3 kids.Had a problem with my Wi-Fi and the manager took the time to deal with it by providing a connection during my stay(thanks again).Clean rooms, pool, loved the birds, kids were able to run around the courtyard.Walking distance to casino, bank, beaches, restaurants, car rental, supermarket, fresh fruit stall.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the bath is a bit high to get into(had to lift the kids in).The food was tasty.Home away from home, will stay here again.

My sis, daughter and I checked in on August 18, approximately 5:30 pm. There were lots of guests checking in also. Although a bit time consuming, Michael was very patient and dealt personally with every guest. I think this was fabulous, as customers are looking for the personal touch, being couteous, pleasant and warm. Anything that is needed is addressed by Michael. Having the experience myself, everything about this trip was positive. My view is, you can't please each customer taste and value differ.

I just want to share the great moment, nothing short of fantastic. The rooms were well kept, clean and fully air conditioned, mini kitchen and hygenic bathroom. I have no regrets for checking in at the Golden Thistle which I understand is one of the earliest hotels set up in Tobago. If you want to have a quiet scenic time in the Sister's Isle, then Golden Thistle is what you're looking for.

The ambiance was great, which is relatively quiet and peaceful. It is situated away from the main road which makes it private. Its location is approximately five minutes away from the famous beach Store Bay which I happen to love as well as the airport. Now I mean five minutes walking distance, with you vehicle its going to be approximately two minutes away from the Arthur Robinson Airport.

The breakfast is great and the cook, oh, she is just amicable, you just name your dish and here it comes.

The rooms are kept clean at all times and the host is very friendly and accommodating. He addresses all concerns and acts swiftly to rectify any problems.

If you are looking for a time of peace and privacy, then Golden Thistle Hotel is the place to be. Not forgetting, relatively reasonable.
