We absolutely loved the island, the people, the beaches, the rain forests, and of course the Caribbean Sea, and the climate. We thought the island to be relatively inexpensive, and one month was about right to enable us to do and see all that we wished.

We found Gillian and Dixie..(owner and staff) to be attentive and helpful during our stay, and we had no issues with our apartment.....in fact, the view was great, and the location was perfect...close to bus service, Grafton beach, and Mt. Irvine beach.

The issues that detracted from our visit was the unbelievable noise that came nightly from a local bar...Moon Over Water....and the election sound trucks that found us everywhere on the island. It would seem that there are no noise by-laws in effect on the island, and there definitely should be!

Overall, we rated our time on Tobago as a 7 out of 10, and would return again in the future.....though not during an election, and likely in a more secluded and quieter location, although that would mean a car rental!

A large group of friends spent the weekend at this wonderful villa. The rooms were spacious and the amenities were all we could have asked for. We had such a great time we hardly left the villa at all except to go to the beach which was about a 5 minute walk. The landlady was extremely nice and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!!!

We stayed at Hibiscus Heights for 9 days at the beginning of August. The villa exceeded our expectations for accomodation and location. The beach was a two minute walk from the villa and provided great swimming. We were a short ride away from restaurants and shopping. We would return to Hibiscus Heights in a heartbeat!

We were at Corner View, part of Hibiscus Heights for 3 weeks. Gill collected us at the airport and took us straight to get the groceries we needed. The apartment was wonderful, more than enough space for two people and very clean. Kitchen basics were provided, lots of herbs and spices if you feel the need to cook, kitchen roll, serviettes, washing up liquid, etc. There's plenty of drawer and hanging space for clothes - having the washer and dryer is very useful (some washing powder was provided too).

We flew to Trinidad in the middle of our stay and Gill was happy to organise for us to get to the airport and to be collected again on our return - nothing was too much trouble.

It was the ideal choice for us as apart from all the obvious benefits (the views are gorgeous) it's close enough to walk to a few different local beaches and the bus stop is close by (neither of us drives so we had to rely on public transport).

We are already looking for flights to return next year and we're hoping to stay at Hibiscus again!

My wife and I spent a week at the Corner View. We were pleasantly surprised as we were actually expecting less space. The Corner View isn't small at all. We didn't meet the owner, Gil, until the second day as she wasn't on the island when we arrived but she ensured that we would not have to wait for her. Everything was ready & waiting for us.

Everything was up to mark - cable TV, Wi-Fi, appliances (stove, fridge, washer, dryer), maps. And the housekeeper was very pleasant. We did a little re-arranging, with permission, and put the TV in the living room area (and fell asleep in the comfy sofa bed a couple of nights as well). Breakfasted on the porch many mornings. We were even rained in for one or two days but our disappointment was eased with the comfort of the apt.

Down the hill from the property is a little spread with a mini-mart, a pizza boys, a roti shop, an ATM and a handful of snackettes with some other eating choices, all just off the main road. Across the main road and a 10 min walk is an ok beach, apparently unpopular, because we had it all to ourselves. But we still preferred taking the 20 mins drive to Store Bay & Pigeon Pt. We waited 10 mins on average for taxis on the main road but after a few days Gil put us on to a very accommodating car rental agency with reasonable prices.

Gil didn't like it that we didn't mention we were recently married until we were leaving. She said she would have given us the honeymoon experience. Our loss. :( We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope we can return soon.
