I visited Tobago in May with my Mom and Aunt. Making arrangements and payment was easy. When we arrived Mrs Rattan greeted us and showed us to our room, she even gave us information on attractions we might like to visit and restaurants. On our first night we stayed in a room with a noisy a/c, which made it difficult to sleep, when we informed Mrs Rattan about the a/c she apologized and moved us to another room. The rooms were clean, and well kept. We got fresh towels everyday. The grounds and room were also well kept. It wasn't a noisy area nor did we have noisy neighbours. The staff were very helpful. The place could use a few upgrades, but non the less we had a wonderful stay. I along with my family would stay at Rainbow Resorts again.

A friend recommended Rainbow Resort as i was seeking affordable accommodation for the Carnival Weekend.

I must admit Rainbow Resort delivers. It is within walking distance to Store Bay and many eating outlets such as Pizza Boys and Cheifs.

Taxis pass right in front of the resort so travelling to the town was easy and convenient.

The rooms were quiet and comfortable with ac and cable television. There is a daily complimentary service in which the staff come and clean the bedrooms and make up the beds, which is absolutely wonderful as it reduces house work on a vacation, which you actually do not want to be doing because its meant to be a vacation- a time just to relax.

There is a pool in the event persons do not want to go to the beach. The only problem i had was that they close the pool approximately 7pm where as i would have preferred to have access to the pool in the night but other than that i had no problems with Rainbow Resort. I would recommend to other people.

This was the worst accomodations I have ever had in my life and I grew up with a cheap father who would stay at the next motel down the road while on a cross country drive.

The room was filthy, plain and simple. The door to the bathroom was covered in black filth. I'm not sure if it was mold or not but the conditions of hot, humid and dark, would not rule out the possibility.

The towels were old and worn out, the housekeeping service showed up 3 out of 4 days and only changed towels and took out the trash, no mopping or sweeping was done, the beds didn't even get made.

The kitchen was gross, the dishes were chipped and there was food remnants on the cutlery. There was also a knife that was being held together with duct tape. The stove was disgusting, I don't think it had ever had a proper cleaning.

The pillows were flatter and smaller than the ones we had on our flight down (economy class). The beds were old and worn and hard. They provided a single topsheet, no additional blankets.

The air conditioning worked well, but very difficult to regulate. The tv was small and only about half the available channels worked properly.

The pool was adequate once it was cleaned. There was an ironing board in every room but only one iron for the entire property which had to be requested from the front desk/office.

The website states that it is a secure facility, however the gate did not get locked at night and there was no sign of a security guard in the security shack.

I visit Tobago frequently and if i don't get a booking at rainbow resort, I just don't go at all .I just wait until there is a vacancy. For the past year I haven't been to Tobago but i have faith that their services have stayed the same and i will be just as impressed on my next visit which will be very soon.

Staying at Rainbow resort is THAT IMPORTANT to me and my family. It's always clean and you have the utmost privacy.I will not have my kids staying at any other hotel. I've recommended it to many people and they were just as satisfied.
