My husband and I stayed at this resort for our honeymoon. It didn't seem inviting on the website but I had the opportunity to visit the island and after looking at some of the rooms offered to couples by the popular nearby establishments I came to realise that, Sandy Point was the most romantic - bedroom loft, pool right at the doorstep and not too crowded or noisy. The service was better than expected and the staff were helpful. The food was great and the view from the restaurant is breathtaking. The Air condition was not working properly in the room we were given tho and upon notifying the front desk, we were promptly given another room with the same features. However I do think that they should upgrade to cable and not charge for the remote. Bar not too stocked tho. But all in all we totally enjoyed our stay. I have already started recommending the place to others.

Very very bad service.

The staff is not customer oriented. They are not willing to assist with your questions. They are probably not trained in the hotel industry field.

Some of the rooms are in need of urgent repairs (bathroom shower, tap in sink and light fixtures on step).

When we checked in our room was not ready.

I stayed at one of the poolsides apartments an it was not as bad as the reviews stated. We had a 2 night and three day stay and the staff was not unpleasant at all to us while there. The setting of the room is a good one,the downstairs is the entertaining area and the bathroom, there is a stairs leading upstairs to a deck where the bedroom is located above the entertaining area. The only thing about the room was that it doesn't have a kitchenette, there is only a refridgerator and a kettle. If you don't plan on cooking then it is great for that. The restaurant has very good prices and the view is really relaxing and the food is great.

Why did I believe the website picutres instead of the reviews that customers wrote...Never Again...I would have rathered slept on the beach than the Sandy Village ..... We only stayed one night and that was one night to much... The bathroom was terrible..the water lines were leaky...dead cock roaches...we didn't even try the kitchen.

The staff could have cared less about the guest, it seems to be an imposition to help the guest. The workout room was in need of repair and cleaning....the pool was clean...and that was the only good point about the accomodations. Never again...
