We went to Scott's because we we had no option as it was the week leading to the great boat race. The welcome was warm and friendly but the accommodation is very BASIIIIIC!! and CRAMMMP!!I because there was beds for FOUR people in one room.We had a two bed apartment for our party of six people. The bunkbeds are very uncomfortable. The pillows are awful, you might as well don't use them. There was noise from surrounding areas and the dogs as well as traffic. There was no crockery/cutlery for the six of us.But we did get some when we complained. The accommodation is far from the airport and amenities. We needed a car to get around which addd to the cost.It was not value for money at 700 tt per night but having said that we had a good time in Tobago because we did not want a poor quality apartment spoil our three nights stay.So beware.Don't rely on what you read from the owners blog! and pretty pictures.Always do your research and you can get a better, cheaper restful place near all the amenities airport if you plan ahead. the owner knew we were stuck, nowhere to stay and took advantage of that.

My friend and I stsyed at Scott's Holiday Apt in April 2009 and 2011 and I had a wonderful stay. I was well received with the warm and welcoming greetings from the owner Mr. Scott. I even received a bottle of non alcholic wine for my 3 days of stay. The place was clean and enough space to cook. Bedroom was seperated from kitchentte and living room. Internet access and mini mart on compound tipped it off. For $330.00 per night, I got my monies worth. I would highly recommend this place. New apts added. Safe and good parking on compound.

My husband, brother and I decided to go to Tobago for a long weekend. We booked at Scott's because it was cheap and because it was a long weekend and because of our last minute bookings (nowhere else was available).

Directions could not have been more difficult...they told us to Shirvan Road to get to their apartments (we made two blocks using these directions). However an easier route is using the road opposite the entrance to Tobago Plantations!!

The room - bathroom REEAAAAALLLLYYYYYYYY SMALL!!! no soap, no towels provided, no bath mats either. one roll of Toilet paper, no re-fills after the first day. The room was not cleaned, the bathroom (toilet in particular)was dirty, and the beds were not made when we arrived.

The room itself is very small...very! not as in the pictures shown on another website. The TV did not work - static and company! The microwave and fridge worked! The A/C also!

Beds were 4x6, two in the room. Insufficient closet space, no towels racks or any thing to hang anything on!

Ok, so my comment is, if you don't mind a icky bathroom, and a small cramped space with no soap, towels or T.V., that sleeps up to 4 persons and that's really cheap ($300 TT/night)'ll love here!
