My husband and I stayed here from 24-27 January '11. We are preparing to return to Trinidad & Tobago and I just realized that I never submitted our review for these facilities. Overall, we had a great stay here and feel comfortable recommending these lodgings. Nigel picked us up from the airport and drove us straight to Penny Savers so that we could pick up basic groceries. We appreciated this complimentary service. When we were there the facilities seemed a bit worn but were clean and pleasant. A minor refurbishment would make a huge difference. However this did not detract from our stay. We did not hire a car while staying here as our local friends lived nearby and kindly acted as our personal driver & guide. Otherwise it would be a good idea to have a rental vehicle. We look forward to returning to Tobago in October. Hopefully we can stay here again if it's not fully booked. This time five of us are travelling together so we'll see how that goes. I'd also highly recommend the Island Tour by Simon. The woman at the front desk (forgot her name, sorry, but she was great!) made the arrangements and we were really pleased with this recommendation. We are hoping to arrange another tour, this time with my mother-in-law and two of my sisters-in-law. They're originally from Trinidad but, ironically, have never had the pleasure of visiting Tobago. I think they're in for a treat, especially if we stay at Sherwood Park Apartments.

This accommodation offers visitors peace and serenity with the most beautiful landscape and scenic views of the scarborough harbour and surrounding areas.

Members of staff are quite helpful especially the manager, Nigel.

This place is always clean and any problem/s encountered are solved in a short space of time.

We spent 4 day at Sherwood Park and found it ot be a very nice, warm environment.

The amenties such as the fridge, A/C, worked well.

The untensil needed a little life,, but all in all workable.

The host was a gem, Nigle very friendly and always willnig to help.

My children loved the pool, the surrounding was well kept,, with only a few minors repairs needed at the poolside, but very safe.

I normally stay at a quaint little Villa in Carnbee, but had to find alternative accomodation that was self catering. Ater searching reviews and facility description, here was Sherwood Park Apartments. The hotel greatfully was in Carnbee a bonus for me - close to everything but just far off to be peaceful. The staff waited for us to arrive at 7:30 p.m. we were quickly ushered to our rooms to recoup and relax. Morning came fast enough, we had the opportunity to look around at our accomodations- Sherwood Park was adorable, alot of emphasis was placed on the exterior gardens and the layout of the place. It was nice to have the pool a little off from the hotel for privacy and peace, but you could still see the kids. The hotel caters for all travellers and my kids were extatic, but it was hard for me not to miss the subtle romantic side of the hotel and the possibilities that existed. The apartments themseleves are large enough to allow for free flow. The only down side was that our rooms did not have independent televisions - a plus for me a travesty to the kids; there was a television at the reception where cable ready viewing was possible. The inside of the apartments need a little TLC to warm up the space, but I look forward to returning and recommending them to friends and family. I am looking forward to seeing Sherwood Park Apartments evolve into that perfect spot that I got a taste off. Great job to the staff. I/We will be back sooner than we expected.

Sherwood park was everything that was displayed on the internet site and a little more.the staff at the hotel was courteous and efficient. the manager, nigel, was an excellent host and guide to those who needed a little more info on the goings on of tobago. the accommodations were scrupulously clean and very adequate. the facilities at the hotel were extremely well kept, and the pool in particular was a favourite of my children. the location of the building allows for a spectacular view of the sunrise over the atlantic, and the partially obstructed view of the scarborough area allowed for idle gazing, interrupted only by the passing of the ferries. the one thing that stood out for me was the loudness of the cocricos in the morning. i didnt mind that though since i never had the opportunity to see these birds before.

one thing that you need to be aware of though. the tobago mosquitoes are ravenous and the library in the lobby doesnt have too many english books so you may need to walk with some.

i would highly recommend this accommodation to everyone especially the first time visitor to tobago like myself.
