Located on the edge of Castara village, and offering a complimentary shuttle service for local visitors without transport, Sandcastles is a new and exciting dining option on Tobago’s upper Caribbean coast.

Owner Adam Hanlon is a truly excellent chef. Dining at Sandcastles is more akin to having dinner with friends – not that you are likely to have many friends who can cook this well.

Adam is offering a complimentary three-course meal for two lucky winners, with a bottle of wine. As with all our prizes, advance reservation is essential.

Blue Waters Inn

Prize Ref: 118

Prizes: 2 prizes for 2 people

Status: 1 prize left

No visit to Tobago would be complete without a tour of the island. It is always a wonderful day out, but decent venues for lunch are few and far between, particularly if you want International cuisine.

Our personal lunchtime favourite watering hole when touring Tobago is the Blue Waters Inn just outside Speyside. Frankly a visit to gorgeous Batteaux Bay, where the hotel is located, should be on every visitor’s “to do” list.

The Blue Waters Inn has generously offered two pairs of lucky myTobago readers a two-course (entrée and dessert) luncheon for two with a delicious rum punch each.

If you´re looking for an intimate setting for a dinner for two, then Ru-B-Lou´s is the place to chose. This restaurant has long be a favourite with myTobago readers. The restaurant has moved to the Shirvan Road from the original premises in Crown Point and front-of-house is now managed by Lou's nephew, Marc. However, the menu and quality remain as high as ever and you are sure to receive a warm welcome.

Enjoy a complementary three course meal with a rum punch or ice-cold beer each? How about a huge slice of Ru-B-Lou´s infamous chocolate cake to round off your meal - if you can still manage it.

Ciao Café

Prize Ref: 97

Prizes: 2

Status: Available

No visit to Scarborough is complete without a visit to Ciao Café – in fact many would say that it is by far the best reason to visit Tobago’s capital. Genuine home-made Italian ice cream and the best coffee on the island are just some of Ciao’s features.

Located in Burnett Street in downtown Scarborough (face the port and turn left then walk along the front until the road starts rising the hill), the café’s balcony is a brilliant place to people watch while experiencing the atmosphere of busy downtown Scarborough. Or, if you are just too hot, enjoy the air-conditioned café interior.

Two lucky winners could choose TT$150 vouchers to spend on meals or drinks at Ciao Café. Choose from more than 20 flavours of Italian gelato ice cream; their Illy Café Espresso and Cappuccino coffees, cocktails and wine bar, Italian lasagne, pizza or many different types of cake and cheesecake.

Shore Things Cafe

Prize Ref: 130

Prizes: 1 prizes for 2 people

Status: Available

Shore Things Café & Craft is located on the cliff-tops overlooking the sea in Lambeau.

We find it almost impossible to pass along this stretch of coast without calling in for a meal, or at the very least a glass of their delicious freshly-squeezed fruit juices. Having tried their wonderful home-made fare, they are also a great source of souvenirs and gifts for those back home.

We are delighted to see Shore Things join our happy band of prize donors this year. Their prize consists of a free lunch for two lucky visitors. An ideal lunchtime treat!

Marguarite's Local Cuisine

Prize Ref: 94

Prizes: 1 prizes for 2 people

Status: Available

Do you enjoy good Creole food in a natural and hospitable environment? If so and if you are staying in Castara or the upper Caribbean coast, then look no further than Marguarite’s.

Located next to the school in the middle of Castara, Marguarite has established an excellent reputation for his little restaurant since she opened in mid-2003. It rapidly became our favourite eatery in Castara during our frequent visits there.

Marguarite has offered a complimentary dinner for two lucky holidaymakers. The restaurant does not have an alcohol licence, so the meal will only include soft drinks and water. However, patrons are always welcome to bring their own wine or beer (no spirits).
