Oct 2007....... rain or shine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Steve P »

Hi
We are thinking of going to Tobago in Oct 2007.
Are we likely to be washed out, or is it ok to come then?
Otherwise when would you recommend between September and November.
Thanks

Stevs P,it,s getting towards the end of the rainy season then so anything could happen. You are unlikely to get washed out,and if it is raining you can stil snorkel/swim!

Hi Steve P.

I can say that the first 2 weeks of November have seen some of the worst weather in Tobago for the last 2 consecutive years. This is the only consistent record I have of any wash outs.

Ironically, during the supposed dry season in January 2005, the weather was predominantly cloudy with plenty of rain for the whole month !

But that is history ... impossible to predict the future ... particularly for late 2007.

You can be there at anytime of year and you would be very unlucky to have a wash out.

You never can tell.

Just expect a little more heat and humidity in October.

Paul, don't remind me!!!I think I counted 18 consecutive days of rain!!!!!!!
However, there isn't much real activity so it looks as if it could be a normal season.
