We recently spent 2 glorious weeks in the sunshine at Petit Careme Villa in Tobago. The location is superb - quiet, secure with gated access , lovely pool and gardens, close to beautiful beaches. The Villa has an excellent housekeeper, Charmaine who is most helpful and a great cook. She prepared local dishes at a nominal fee. There were several lovely restaurants with a local flair. The seafood is fresh and tasty. The Villa itself has a great veranda. We ate most of our meal here and relaxed with rum punch watching the beautiful wild birds. The children loved hammock . Bird feeders are provided which attracted several species of island birds. Off the verandah is a private splash pool for fun and games, old and young. The sun rises and sun sets are spectacular.This was our second vacation and I would definitely recommend Petit Careme Villa. We are looking forward to our next visit.
