Plantation Beach Villas (PBV), July 2005

We decided to stay there before reading the MyTobago review. We stayed in villa 4,5 and 6 and had lots of space. The villas look very nice, are located on what we found to be one of the best beaches on the island, and offers a pool and bar for guests only. We loved the villas, and especially the porch. The area around the villas are well kept, and at the same time gives you the chance to see local bird and animal-life up close. Living in the villas we felt at home, but then again with more beautiful and relaxing surroundings than we have ever had before. Anything at all to complain about? A little noise from the road behind villa 5&6. Maybe more trees could have been cut, so that the sea-view would improve. Just minor things really.

However beautiful, it always comes down to how people treat you. From start to end we felt the genuine interest from all of the staff at PBV. The welcoming meal, the beers and cold drinks in the fridge, the arranged pool-side dinner was just a few of the things we appreciated. Sean and his people provided top service regardless of what we asked for. Our villa attendants kept everything clean and nice, and made the vacation easier for all of us.

So is the PBV worth visiting; Yes, absolutely. My personal opinion is that if anybody will not love these villas and the people that run the place, they are better off to stay at home. I have never stayed at a more comfortable, beautiful and personal place.

Thank you Sean w/staff, we hope to see you all again!
