We spent a lovely week in Tobago at Plantation Beach Villas in May 2007.
The Villas are large, comfortable, clean and well equipped.
The grounds were beautifully maintained on a daily basis as was the housekeeper service.
The swimming pool is in a lovely setting a 100 yard walk to an outstanding beach.
There was a little noise from the adjacent hotel but this finished early evening and was not a problem.
Security was not an issue, but the grounds were patrolled early evening through to the following morning.
Good location; restaurant within walking distance and food at the pool bar but a car is recommended.
Unless you have one of the first two villas you should be aware that there is a steep hill to climb when walking back from the pool.
We found the mosquitoes a real problem although the Villa was thoughtfully well equipped with plug in repellents for indoor and coils for outdoor use.
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday, would thoroughly recommend.
