I stayed at the Hummingbird Hotel for a 4 day rest and relaxation period before heading over to Trinidad. The hotel is in a location that is very peaceful and quiet. The beaches can be walked to, however, it is about a 15 minute walk to Store Bay, and longer to Pigeon Point. I rented a car, so driving there was just a few minutes to Store Bay, and a few minutes more to Pigeon Point.

Pennysavers and other stores on Milford Road are just a few minutes away by car, as are many restaurants and bars on the main "strip".

The room was comfortable, as was the bed, and I awoke feeling well rested. It is not a posh resort, if that is what you are seeking, but it is comfortable, and clean, which is what I wanted.

The owners are friendly, and seemed to enjoy interacting with their guests. I did not take meals at the hotel, but I did catch the aroma of what was probably a very delicious meal coming from the kitchen, so you would probably not be disappointed if you did take meals there.

Very good for a budget hotel with a nice pool.
