Hello Susan,

Yes! We enjoyed our stay in Tobago immensely. The house is marvelous and made us feel right at home. And since we are dog owners too, having Lica (sp?) around made being away from our black Lab "Sugar" easier. She's a sweet dog and does her job as a watch dog well.

From both our perspectives, there's not a lot you could change to improve CasaDelaMar. It's exactly the kind of place we like. It's the second VRBO we've done in the Caribbean, Bequia was the first. Both were excellent at reasonable prices, particularly when compared to the surrounding hotel rates for high season.

We found a couple of restaurants that you may want to add to the list - Little Havana is on Bacolet Rd towards town at Bacolet Beach Club. Casual, elegant, price is reasonable, the food looks and tastes great. We also liked the Surf and Turf, located at Bamboo Walk Hotel on the other side of town. Again, causal, elegant, reasonable, and food is great. We had two gargantuan lobsters there but one should call ahead if they want lobster. And the service is very good at both places. If you go for pizza there a place in Crowne Point, La Margarita, that's very good.

Since Deb and I like to go to new islands every year we sort of rate them for future reference. Tobago is a great "beginners" island for those not familiar with Caribbean vacations that are not resort based. The infrastructure is almost like home (good roads, modern stores, conveniences) but you don't have to go far "up country" to get some really beautiful beach, shoreline, and rain forest that mostly deserted.

Anyway, thanks for helping us have a wonderful time. When we make it back to Tobago we surely consider CasaDelaMar again.

Regards,
Keith and Debbie Bigger
