Crusoe's is exactly as advertised on the internet. The rooms are spacious, well kept and comfortable. There is air-conditioning in the bedrooms and the remotes are there for adjustments to be made to the temperature, if need be. The grounds are well manicured and a pleasure to see. The kitchen was adequate enough,though a cup strainer,a grater and a pie dish would also have been welcome. No microwave was present, but that was not a bother to me at all. There is a toaster, though.

The owners and their staff were helpful, and they allowed you your privacy.

I stayed for 6 days and ran out of clothes. Two days before we were due to leave, I discovered that there was a laundry room on the premises and we were invited to use it. That was very relieving to me. The coin washing machine costs $15 TT, for readers who may be interested in knowing. Otherwise, you can wash in the sinks available.

Store Bay beach is about 20 minutes' walk away, depending on the pace at which you walk. We walked casually,taking in the scenery.

All in all, it is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it.
