My husband and I honeymooned at Hummingbird Apartment for four days, and by the end of our stay, we wished we could've been there for at least another week. Quiet, serene, and absolutely beautiful, if you love being surrounded by nature. The apartment had everything we needed to make us feel thoroughly at home. Having breakfast with the birds on the front porch was absolutely delightful. On evenings we had tea in the hammock and enjoyed the spectacular sunsets. It rained for most of our stay, so we stayed in, enjoyed the lovely little pool, and the array of birds that came to the overhanging plum tree. For me, personally, it was a much needed break from work and the hassles of life. Time seemed to pass more slowly, and I found a renewed sense of gratitude, calm and joy in the world around me. Castara itself lent to this... great people, and a great atmosphere: peaceful, unhurried, just cool. I cannot say enough how wonderful this was. Can't wait to go back.
