My wife and I stayed at Orchid Villa cottage for 8 days in February 2014 during our first visit to Tobago. We found the cottage much to our liking and provided us with a good central location about equidistant to either coast from which to explore the island. The accommodations were private, clean and very low key in keeping with the general atmosphere of the whole lovely island. Our host Elaine Morganti and her wonderful dog Milo provided us with a comfortably equipped self sufficient cottage on the grounds of her private house located in the area of Mount Pleasant. A clean, very refreshing small in ground pool complimented the well furnished and roomy 1 bedroom cottage equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker (!), sofa and easy chair. A TV was also included as well as ample secure storage for clothes, luggage, and valuables. Orchid Villa cottage, detached from the main house has all the privacy that you need and Elaine the ever obliging hostess is always available when needed and her spacious well manicured property gives you plenty of privacy. Shops, banks and beaches are close by and are easily reached by car in 5 to 15 minutes. Having a car is highly recommended and Orchid Villa has private, secure parking on site. We are looking forward to a return visit to Tobago and won`t hesitate to stay again at Orchid Villa Cottage.
