If you want simple, reasonably priced accomodation, a peaceful location, beautiful gardens, then Sea Edge is the perfect place to stay! My partner and I stayed for one week of our two week stay in Tobago, and it was bliss!

The location is perfect for dining out at night (lots of restaurants within 5 mins drive) and also for Sunday School - 5 mins walk, but no noise whatsoever.

The double doors open up to the bedroom, which has a double bed complete with mozzie net, and a ceiling fan. The door to the left of the bed leads to the bathroom, with shower. The door on the right leads to the small, but perfectly adequate kitchen. We only made breakfast and our picnic lunches at the cottage, but if you were making dinner there it could be a bit tight for space.

The best part of the accomodation is the little porch where you can sit out and take in the wildlife. We saw squirrels, HUGE iguanas, so-called 'foot-flappers', and beautiful birds. It is also (as the name suggests!) on the Sea Edge, and we regularly sat by the cliff watching the waves rolling in whilst drinking our tea in the morning, or drinking a cold Carib in the evening while the sun went down.

The cottage is in the grounds of Gemma's house, meaning there's always someone there to help you if you need it. She even did some washing for us free of charge.

Gemma has 3 dogs - the boxer, Marco, is fantastic, and will walk you right to the door at night - like having your own security guard! Our only suggestion is that the other two should perhaps be kept on a chain while guests are there. We had no problems whatsoever, but if you don't like bigger dogs, you may be a bit wary.

Gemma is a fantastic host, who could not have done more to make us feel comfortable. You immediately feel at home in the cottage, and the garden is a dream to watch. We HIGHLY recommend this accomodation to others.
