I spent four days at Sea Edge in early March of this year. After a nightmare experience at Turtle View Residences at Turtle Beach, we called around for new accommodation. We came across Sea Edge by happenstance, but we were glad we did.

Gemma was a wonderful host who made us feel instantly at home in her lovely estate. The cottage is in the back of her property, within earshot of the crashing waves on the sea edge (which has wonderful sunsets and views over Mt Irvine Beach). The room was tastefully decorated and clean, with everything you need and nothing more (no TV, in case you were wondering). That was just what we wanted - the property was secluded, down a small back road away from the bustle of nearby Buccoo.

Sea Edge served as the perfect launching pad for our relaxation activities and I would recommend it highly for travelers (and especially couples) who are ok with self-catering and who want a quiet time to themselves. Of course, it is near the major population centers of the island and by Sunday School, so if you're looking for that it is available.

We have friends in Tobago, but if we're there and we can't stay at their house, we'll be giving Gemma a call.
