We recently got back from spending two glorious weeks at Sea Edge in Bucco. What can I say about our stay well nothing short of perfect, Gemma picked us up at the airport and for the two weeks was the perfect host. We regularly had fresh flowers and fruit from the garden in our apartment which was perfect for a couple, you came up four steps onto a lovely veranda with table and chairs (perfect for eating breakfast and admiring the fantastic views) you enter through large double doors into a generous sized bedroom with large ceiling fan. On either side of the bed are two doors one to the shower room with large wardrobe the other to the small but adequate kitchen with electric hob and full size fridge.
Outside the apartment was a large garden which led to the cliff tops with fantastic views but best of all totally private. The garden was full of wildlife from tiny humming birds outside the kitchen window to huge Iguanas walking across the garden, Squirrels, bats and geckos. The apartment was only a 10min walk from Sunday School but no noise and a short walk from a fantastic beach.
I must say a quick word about Gemmas dogs; while we were there she had three large dogs from boxers to a rottweiler but they were very well behaved and were no problem. If you made a fuss of them then they made a fuss of you if you ignored them they ignored you but we thought they were great, the best thing was they were very good guard dogs if we came in late they would bark but never come running up to us which made us feel very secure in fact of the whole two weeks we never locked our doors when we went out. So if you like dogs say hello to them if not just ignore them, we enjoyed their company so much over the two weeks we even bought them a present when we left.
