We stayed at Shirma's Apartments for 2 months whilst undertaking our medical elective at Scarborough Hospital. We stayed in a wonderful, clean and modern one bedroom apartment, with all the amenities required to ensure we felt comfortable and at home.
As well as providing spacious accommodation, Shirma and Clifford ensured we were well looked after - driving us to our hospital placement each morning, taking us on a weekly grocery trip, cooking a lovely meal each weekend, and generally being available to help with any questions or queries during our stay. Shirma even helped to arrange a trip to Trinidad for us, including transport and accommodation, to make sure we didn't miss out on the Carnival which took place during our stay.
Shirma and Clifford were wonderful hosts, with nothing ever seeming to be too much trouble. It is clear that they truly care about their guests' welfare, and love what they do. Their apartments are extremely popular with medical students - and it is clear why.
If you are considering taking your elective in Tobago, we would highly recommend Shirma's apartments without hesitation. We'll be back!
