I stayed at Spence twice last year. Both rooms were comfortable but compared to other places I have stayed with a similar price range, I found the walls and ceilings of the rooms needed some repair work/finish.
My lowest grade went to the kitchens in both apartments. Although clean, they could do with some upgrading - matching wares, small container of dish washing liquid, dish towels - all things that are relatively cheap from either PriceSmart or I.A.M. All small appliances should be checked regular for cleanliness and state of repair. Since there is a gas stove, a half box of matches would be appreciated, especially for guest arriving late who would have liked a cup of tea before going to bed.
The Pool got 100% - clean, not too much chlorine - my grans enjoyed it. They consider it second to the one at Sandy Point Beach Club.
