Spent a delightful week at the Beach House in Castara. Location was steps from the beach and next to a bar/restaurant. We had the upstairs 1 BR apartment which was spacious and well-appointed and had a beautiful view of the bay. We were lucky enough to be there at the same time as the owners who stayed in one of the studios. What a fun couple. Our only complaint were the mosquitoes which came out at night but a quick spray before retiring around the netted bed solved the problem. The property manager visited daily and was very accommodating, helping us get a tire replaced on our car thereby saving a journey into Crown Point. He also provided us with a boat and captain at a very reasonable rate, and could provide connections for virtually any outing or activity. The kitchen left nothing to be desired and the barbecue worked great. I wish we had stayed longer. It was a very relaxing setting.
