The Beach House is wonderful. We stayed in one of the studio apartments and then moved up to Coconut Heights, and while Coconut Heights is bigger and better appointed and it is lovely to be up in the trees with the birds, the studio was also very welcoming. I don't think we have ever, or will ever, stay in a better location, where the sea is so close, where you can watch all the comings and goings in the bay, where there is so much wildlife and where we felt completely at home. To be able to come back each day (when we could tear ourselves away) and relax looking out at the sunset with a rum punch was magic. The village is a lovely place to stay and Little Bay (Heavenly Bay) is wonderful for swimming. Having The Boat House next door is a bonus, where you can go on a Wednesday to hear the drummers, and where you can sit and eat or have a drink on the balcony overlooking the sea. The only downside are the mosquitos in the evening - do take enough repellant for your stay. I would recommend The Beach House unreservedly for anyone who likes wildlife, a beach location, feeling part of the local way of life and totally relaxing. We could hardly bear to leave.
