Myself and 3 friends stayed at the Beach House for a week, we loved Castara and the Beach House so much that we ended up booking in for a further 6 days for the end of our 3 weeks in Tobago. The rooms were clean and tidy and had everything you need. The most amazing thing is waking up in the morning to the sounds of the waves and the birds, opening the blinds and gazing out to the crystal clear waters is nothing short of a perfect start to the day. The veranda overlooks the bay and is a great spot for breakfast/cocktails/bbq's (which we did plenty of).

We saw plenty of stingrays and tropical fish, and even spotted 2 or 3 turtles which was a once in a lifetime experience to swim with them. Bingi shop up the road near the liquor store provided all we needed, including his lovely wife's excellent homemade coconut bread and pumpkin bread which you have to pre order the day before. The avocados were the best we've ever had and the selection of groceries was always fresh and in season. The people of Castara were accomodating and friendly and we met some good friends on our stay who arranged boat tours, island tours, bbq's on the beach, and trips to the local waterfall which is highly recommended. Porridge and Janell were very helpful and friendly and provided us with car rental and 1 or 2 trips to the Castara retreats where we indulged in some of the best cocktails we've had, made by Kenny. Don't be afraid to ask for anything here-everyone is happy to help with any questions you may have. The beach house was even better than we expected it to be and we will be returning one day soon, my favourite place yet!
