I visited VIP in january of 2009 with my husband, for a small 2 night vacation. When we arrived on the port, the owner mr. ramo was already there awaiting on our arrival and we were also dropped off at the port when we departed FREE of charge.The rates were great,(slightly above 200/ night) and the apartment was quite clean.the kitchen was fully equipped with everything possible and we had a small patio from which we admired the planes landing.
The drawbacks was that the walk to the beach on a hot day is very tedious and we had to take a taxi there. It would have been much better if we had rented a vehicle which is available upon request. Additionally there was no pool, but this was expected due to the cheap rate.
I would recommend VIP to individuals looking for a cheap but yet comfortable place with good hospitality. A vehicle is also a must.
