Beautiful surroundings. Wonderful watching variety of
birds feeding whilst sitting on verandah. Cottage does
require a lick of paint inside and minor improvements- holes in mosquito nets, very little storage space.This
did not affect the enjoyment of our holiday however. Very good value!
Smaller, newer cottage built next door was close(1m) but as it was empty did not affect us. We actually booked the cottage before this was built and was a little concerned, but after reading your report my fears were allayed. However,I don't think I would have liked a next door neighbour so close...
Maggie and Sherwin very friendly and helpful.
We hired a car and visited most of the island. Castara is a a beautiful place, totally unspoilt. Maggie's restaurant in the village was a great place to eat - cooked by Sherwin.Had a great time.
