We absolutely loved the grounds, with parrots overhead, trees and flowers everywhere, just off the beach but quiet and lots of privacy. Staff were helpful and pleasant. It was a rustic cabin (#6, the Sugar Shack), the sort that acquires insects and spiders with holes in the screens, not all lights were functioning, not bothersome by our standards but could be for some. The cleanliness was an issue, floors that we didn't want to walk barefoot on, dishes that had to be washed before they could be used, just general stickiness. The bed linens and bathroom were clean. It would have been easy to remove a screen from a window and enter the cabin, and staff told us that, in fact, that there have been incidents where people have watched for guests to leave the cabin so they could break in. We were careful to have valuables locked up in the office, which was an irritant because we had to be mindful of their closing times.
