Three of us stayed for a week in early June. Villa is in a lovely situation, with a great view across Mt Irvine to the sea. There's a lovely upstairs balcony for sundown drinks - although no view of the sun sinking into the sea.

Three bedrooms, each individually decorated. Master bedroom is huge and en suite and opens out onto the pool. Tower room is also large and dark and shady (although rain on the roof is interesting!) and also en suite, with a private balcony. Third bedroom is quite small though - but still a double, with a bathroom just across the hall. All have four poster beds, air conditioning and mosquito nets.

There's a fully fitted kitchen, sitting area, and cable tv. Dining area outside on the verandah, and lovely pool. Not enormous, and pretty deep at one end, but just great for lazing around in! No air conditioning downstairs, but we'd have all the shutters open of an evening, with lots of citronelle candles to deter the mosquitos (they were around, but it was shoulder wet season).

Mango and guava trees in the garden, and we managed fresh mangoes most days! Patricia, the maid, taught us how to eat guava - she is so friendly.

Villa is pretty secure - alarmed and everything is lockable as well.

Really nice location, with most things not too far away - but a car is very necessary for this villa! Some nice villas and restaurants in the area, and if you want to cook, we discovered fish being sold at Mount Irvine beach in late afternoon - which barbecues very nicely!
