We stayed at Hawksbill House for a fortnight over Christmas and New Year 2008/9, and would highly recommend the property.

It's spacious, airy, comfortable, elegant, well appointed and well equipped, and an altogether lovely villa in which to relax. Based on the pictures we saw on the web, Yellowbird (same price, same size) was actually our primary choice, because it's first on the hill and closest to the beach. As it was booked, we opted for Hawksbill and glad we did.

Being highest of the three villas in the Westbury group (which also includes the slightly smaller Sandpebbles in the middle), you get a sea view from both the ground floor veranda and upper floor balconies in Hawksbill, which appeared to us to be mostly screened by trees and foliage in the other villas. And, with those views, Hawskbill is still only 50 metres from the beach. In addition, the nighttime security guard's box is adjacent to Hawksbill which, sadly for Tobago, is an added bonus.

Combine all that with a cheerful and efficient team of Liz (the manager) and Charmaine (the maid), and you have a great holiday villa.
