Stayed at Hibiscus Heights in 'Sweet Nest' for one week. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and made a point of being non-intrusive. This was greatly appreciated. The accommodations were simple, elegant, and very clean. The location was ideal, just a few minutes from the airport, but far enough to be away from the noise, hustle and bustle or Scarborough. A nice beach within walking distance, along with convenient eateries, and a local fish market that had the freshest fish that could be prepared at the room. Enjoyed buying fresh fruit from the local vendors and touring the beautiful island. Everyone we met was extremely congenial and friendly, and we made lots of friends. Took our own snorkel gear and found a number of secluded beaches with good diving and nice sand. In most instances, we were virtually the only ones there. Also delighted in hiking through the rain forest preserve and watching all the hummingbirds, motmots, and orapendalas. Took a few dips in the fresh water streams and waterfalls, and never felt crowded. Had a wonderful time in Tobago and would recommend Hibiscus Heights to any one considering a visit.
