If you are planning a trip to Tobago and want a self-catering apartment then we recommend Hibiscus Heights.
Not only are the beds comfortable, the shower works and the ‘aspects’ pleasing, the patrons, Glory and Mike are exceptional for their professionalism, warmth and approachability. They even picked us up from the airport and took us supply shopping on our first day in Tobago.

Hibiscus Heights is in Pleasant Prospect within walking distance of Grafton Beach. The building is positioned like a citadel above the ‘village’ of Pleasant Prospect within an easy stroll. In the village most things can be found, an acclaimed restaurant (Fish Pot), other restaurants, a bar, mini supermarket, Joanne’s who produces freshly cooked local food in the evenings at very reasonable prices. A sit-down breakfast can also be found in the village as can a very personable fruit seller.

We stayed at Hibiscus Heights for two glorious weeks at the beginning of March this year, spending three days in The Artists Studio and the rest of the holiday in Corner view.
There are a choice of three apartments and a separate cottage in the grounds.
All three apartments and the cottage are delightful, high quality, tastefully decorated, beautifully furnished and extremely clean.
Artists Studio and Corner View had everything that we needed, including a washing machine in Corner View.
The Artist Studio and Sweet Nest Cottage are intimate and cosy.
Corner View is large and airy with generous sea views and last but not least Warm Breezes, the largest of the apartments also with stunning sea views.
There is also a swimming pool that is clean and well maintained that all the apartments had access to.
The pictures on Hibiscus Heights website are totally accurate in fact it is even better in real life.
If you want to hire a car then Glory and Mike can organise that as well.
We arrived as strangers and left feeling that we had simply renewed our friendship with Mike and Glory(patrons) even though we had not previously met.
