We have rented the villa from the 9th through the 23rd of May. Anything we should know or bring before departing?
Thanks, Martha and Les

Martha, in the Bon Accord area (which is close the the mangrove), the mosquitoes tend to come out heavily at dusk, so if you expect to be out and about at that time, you should make sure that you use insect repellent liberally on your exposed skin - I personally use Deep Woods Off! as it has been very effective for me. If you plan to sit out on the porch or by the pool after dark, Citronella candles will also help repel them.

Also, you should travel with anti-itch lotion for the inevitable insect bites that you will get (this is the tropics after all) from mosquitoes, sand-flies, or no-see-ums.

Of course, you should start with sunblock levels that at least 25-30 initially as the tropical sun can be pretty intense.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your sage councel.
Any restaurant recommendations or local vendors of decent wine?
We are looking forward to reacquainting ourselves with Sunday School; the last time we were here we rented a villa next to the Mount Irvine Golf Course for a couple of weeks and had a wonderful time.
Also looking forward to a drink on the deck at Arnos Vale sharing sunsets with the Mot Mots and Banaquits.
Best Snorkeling beaches?
Anything else you can think of would be appreciated.
