A wonderful place for a family holiday, beautiful (probably the best views in the whole island) and utterly relaxing. A group of 8, ranging from 6 to 67 always had enough space to not bump into each other but the opportunity to be socialable if we wanted. The pool is perfect for small children who can swim a bit - the deep ares is only a very small part of the whole - but just big enough for more serious swimmers. The house is lovely and well equipped (only the oven lets it down) and the grounds are fantastic for nature lovers (many different fruiting trees, snakes, lizards, agoutis, bats and 40+ species of birds - unfortunately we couldn't find a tarantula!). THere is no AC, but we never needed it - there is always a breeze from one direction or another, and the ceiling fans are very efficient. Be prepared to get fat - Lesleyanne, the housekeeper, is a wonderful cook!

Because of our numbers and our age range, we managed without transport, but if you want to visit the beach regularly,or if you want to shop daily, you will need a car (and a head for coping with a really difficult entrance / exit).
