Ambassadors House is a beautiful, spacious home, away from the bustle of the island and set overlooking both coasts in a magical extensive tropical garden rich in exotic flora and fauna. Time is spent outside on the terraces enjoying the views, the humming birds, the sunrise and sunset – and the occasional rum punch!

The location of the house in the middle of the island, away from the airport where most beach hotels are located, gives easy access to the capital, Scarborough, and to the road around the island and its stunning quiet beaches and bays and to the rainforest interior. It could not be better placed.

The house is a family home not just another villa. Lesleyann, the housekeeper is charming, fun and most welcoming. Through her, and the network of friends that she and Mr and Mrs Keene have developed, you enjoy a rare and privileged contact with the real Tobago.

This was our seventh visit and, we very much hope, not our last!
