"Very relaxing, fun and adventurous time"

We knew from the start service would've been great as we receive a call from Louise (House Manager) before our arrival to confirm all was well. This this turned out great because we misplaced the contact info.

Louise was very pleasant and offered to make herself available to our needs if required. This was not necessary as the house catered to all our needs.

The kitchen was equipped with a new microwave and BBQ grill, all pots, pans and utensils one may need. The stove and refrigerator though well used still works very good and this was great.

We also liked the open air design of the lodge, did not miss airconditioning at all, the secured walk around verandah, the pool was fantastic, kids did not miss having no tv but you got wi fi, the many books available, particularly, the one on various birds in Trinidad and Tobago that helped us identified some of the many we saw at the lodge (it was fun learning for the kids who took joy in the Cocrico and the sounds they made).

Being in the hills you really appreciate the newness of each day and being one with nature either almost, touching the the clouds when it rained or the sun when it shone but still not far away from the buzz Scarborough (less than 10 mins drive) loved it.

However, we didn't like that rough road up the hill to the house, a good thing it was just about 1min drive and having kids a security gate should be place at the top of stairs inside the house, Louise said it was mentioned and will be looked at.

Thank you for creating such beauty in an already beautiful place, we definitely enjoyed our stay hardly left the lodge and will return again.
