The house is approached by a (terrifyingly) steep drive and is set among beautiful trees with a nice garden. The swimming pool provides respite from the heat, as does the cool breeze which blows through the lattice windows. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped, with comfortable beds and lounge furniture. We enjoyed returning to the house after days touring the lovely island and lying on the beach. A couple of people telephoned the house to make a booking and asked us to book them in! All we could do was recommend they book through Laura, and we said we were highly delighted by the whole experience of St Mary's Hill Lodge. We were woken each morning by a cock crowing, and the noise of more exotic birds. The nearby Church played pan music on Saturday evenings which wafted up the valley. We ate in most evenings, and enjoyed the home-from-home feeling of this very private accommodation. This is a lovely house and must be one of the best places for visitors to Tobago. Highly recommended.
