I choose Kia's Across the Beach based on recommendations and they were well founded. I was looking for an inexpensive guest house that was close enough to beach, etc that didn't require a car.
I was picked up from the airport for free and brought to Kia's, where Karen welcomed me and showed me my simple but clean room. Since there was just one of me, she reduced the rate to $35USD per nite.
I used her diner for some breakfasts and dinners and they were fine.The street traffic was occasionally noisy, but bearable with my fan. There was wireless connectivity at various locations on the property.
My only complaint was the shared toilet was broken but eventually fixed. I would uses Kia's again for the location, price and friendlieness.
