This has been the most fantastic self catering place we have ever stayed!! There was NOTHING that we could think of that we needed and didn't have, the owners have been fantastic they were an email away at all times, my sister in law booked everything through the lady that owns it in Canterbury, this is truly home from home and thats before i get started on Tobago itself! We came 10 yrs ago and i was not looking forward to any commercialisation that would have gone on but i was pleasantly surprised, the beaches are fantastic, the restaurants ( especially Jemima's Tree house restaurant) it was just as we remembered it, and of course the fab Chinese - The Fortune House, we met up with our Tobagan Family - Kelton Thomas locally known as The Bird Man, he does a fantastic job rehabilitating birds of prey on the island ( look him up on Google) he is also into his body building and represents Tobago all over the world! It was so good to see him again he took us over to Trinidad while we were there to the bird sanctuary it was absolutely fab, we caught the 6am ferry over and flew back, the fares only cost about £25 for each person it was a fantastic day out which ended with a river trip through the mangroves ending up watching the most spectacular sight of literally hundreds of bright orange ibis birds coming home to roost for the night, girls, don't take any coats or cardigans and keep the best dresses down to about 3 as its all casual YOU WONT NEED THEM! so if you're thinking of going i can highly recommend it ( please can you take me with you!)
